2013 -The Beginning. We got accreditation and recognition from the Ministry of Education and Sport and the National Council for Higher Education. Since 2013 Almost 5000 students have been trained, in short-term courses & 450 diploma programs.
2014 - The Year Of Growth. SITM is growing at a rate of 60 % (in terms of the number of students and academic strength).
2015 -The Year Of Creating E-Library. SITM has been transformed into an automated work environment electronic Library- that supports research in ICT and plays a practical role in sharing expensive resources for free.
2016– The Year of Social Responsibilities. Under social and corporate responsibility, SITM has trained more than 200 government and Buganda Kingdom employees to equip them with the necessary ICT skills.
2017 – The year of our First Graduation ·.90 % of Graduates in the diploma Program got jobs in the field related to their diplomas.
2018 – The Year of Creating Cloud-Based Computer Application SMS . 5 Graduates with our Senior Lecturer Mr. Ali created the software ‘School Management System’ (SMS), which successfully has been implemented into the management of the SITM.
2019 – The year of our SECOND GRADUATION. 150 students have been graduated. Our remarkable students continue to impress with stories of success both at home and on the world stage.
2020 - The Year of Opening The Second Campus in Entebbe in partnership with Swiss African Organization ``Kids of Africa``. The state-of-the-art environment stimulates creativity and a burning desire for learning with hostels, canteen football, and netball grounds.
2021-2022 - The Year of Online Studies. SITM was able to save the pace of teaching with its online management system that was created in 2018.
2023 - The Year of The Third Graduation.
